But your shadow is about 90% of your psyche, and by definition your shadow is unconscious to you. Meaning, by definition, you are unaware of it. Your shadow influences nearly every belief, emotion, decision, and trigger you have.

So, if you're going to be sovereign, if you're going to hold space for others, you have to be aware of what's down there.

Otherwise, you just rebuild the same systems you left and call them something different and continue to let patriarchal-colonial programming influence you.

A Priestesses bridges the realms, she channels the unseen, she must be a master at navigating the shadows, the unconscious, the underworld.

In Sovereign Priestess we look at the four main areas that we must bring awareness and sovereignty to walk this path safely, powerfully, and with integrity:

 

 

Energetic sovereignty → This isn’t just about having a clear channel. It’s also about discernment and accuracy. It’s about knowing what’s in and around your field and holding safe energetic spaces.  This is discernment work, it's understanding malevolent spirits, and doing the work to make your energy field completely sovereign.

Sovereignty in your mind → We were all subject to societal conditioning as we grew up. Now, you can either release it or your unconscious will keep you believing the world views given to you by others. This is where deep shadow work, colonial work, deconstruction and true self awareness comes in. Because if we haven't put in the self work, we'll accidentally recreate the same harmful systems and just call them something else.

Sovereign in your body →  Your body *is* an oracle and if you can befriend it and learn what it’s saying, you’ll see how clairesentient you’ve always been. But so many of us don't really understand our nervous system, or how our body holds trauma and societal conditioning. 

Sovereign Hearted → One of the main jobs of a priestess, is to embody divine love so completely that it naturally awakens it in the people around us. But most of have conditioning around what it means to be open hearted and loving. But the Goddess doesn’t want our people-pleasing and self martyrdom. She wants sovereign devotion. She wants your heart truly open and in its power. Thats the only way you can walk as a vessel of divine love.

But true sovereignty  also requires roots and foundation.
